Every garden has its season, its rhythm, its quiet moments of wonder. A flower opens and catches the light for a few fleeting weeks before gently stepping aside for another to take its place. A ladybird pauses on a stem, a bee disappears into a bloom, and details so easily missed reveal themselves to those who stop and look. This collection is born from those moments of observation; from the scents, colours and changing character of the garden throughout the year. Through macro photography and painterly textures, I have sought to celebrate the delicate architecture of petals, the intricate beauty of insects and the small stories unfolding beneath our notice. Together, these pieces bring the colour, calm and ever-changing magic of the garden inside.

There is an enchanting quality to foxgloves that has inspired folklore for centuries. Tinkerbell celebrates both the quiet elegance of these native wildflowers and the stories woven around them through generations. Captured in my North Wales garden during May 2026.

The petals, opening gently toward the sky, seem to lift in reverence to Mother Nature herself, an offering of colour and grace. Their deep magenta hue encircles a heart of midnight violet, a contrast that feels both serene and soulful.

Folklore tells that fairies once slipped these blossoms over the paws of foxes, letting them wander silently through the countryside, and that whisper of magic lingers in the air around them. This artwork captures that meeting point between myth and the living garden, celebrating the tender textures, gentle colours, and small wonders that make the natural world so captivating.

Stellar Allium came to life when a dear friend in Wrexham, newly passionate about gardening, invited me to capture their vibrant new plantings. We originally aimed to photograph the visiting bees, but the allium’s galaxy-like structure quickly stole the spotlight.
