Hunter Collection

It often begins with stillness. A silhouette on a weathered perch. A watchful eye scanning the meadow, hedgerow or woodland edge. Then, in an instant, stillness becomes motion as wings unfold and the hunter takes to the air. This collection follows those moments of patience, precision and power that define our birds of prey. From kestrels poised against the morning light to kites drifting effortlessly on unseen currents, each image seeks to reveal both their strength and their grace. Through painterly photography and carefully layered textures, I have softened the boundary between photograph and memory, creating pieces rich in atmosphere, detail and character. Together, they celebrate the quiet majesty of these remarkable hunters and bring a sense of freedom, focus and wild beauty into our homes.

Lone Hunter was captured as dawn gently broke over the farmland between Leeds and Bradford, where open fields meet the rich industrial heritage of Yorkshire.
