Macro image in tones of sage and the palest of pinks, captured June 2026.
Fairy Glen blossomed in my own garden, where I’ve nurtured these foxgloves from seed over two seasons. These biennials now bloom in soft hues of white, peach, and pink, turning the garden into a tapestry of colour. Each trumpet-like flower lined with tiny peach‑pink patterns that feel almost brushed on by hand. Their delicate forms draw in a soft hum of life as bees disappear deep into the blooms, gathering nectar and setting the flowers in motion, a quiet reminder of how beauty and purpose intertwine in nature. Folklore tells that fairies once slipped these blossoms over the paws of foxes, letting them wander silently through the countryside, and that whisper of magic lingers in the air around them. This artwork captures that meeting point between myth and the living garden, celebrating the tender textures, gentle colours, and small wonders that make the natural world so captivating.
